In this case we were able to use guided surgery to avoid doing a double sinus lift that would of cost the patient thousands of dollars and months of healing. We were able to place the implants at ideal locations to avoid nerves and the sinus canal.  This also enabled us to place the implants in dense bone locations to have successful osseointegration.  Traditionally we had to choose between trying to locate a decent site that could be restored using a straight abutment or angled abutment at 1 or 2 different options available.  Now we have complete control over the design, angle, and shape of the multi-unit abutments giving us limitless design possibilities.  With this control we are able to upright the path of insertion to have a perfect draw even though each implant is set at completely opposing angles to each other.
